About us

The Mother Hub is a Women’s Health and Family General Practice Clinic, providing comprehensive care for women, babies and families.
We offer pregnancy care, breastfeeding support, clinical psychology, midwifery and lactation services, osteopathy, and tongue‑tie assessment and treatment.

In addition to our specialist services, General Practice care is available for women, infants and families, allowing patients to access coordinated, holistic care in one supportive environment.

The Mother Hub is run by a team of dedicated Women’s Health Professionals located in Deakin, ACT, committed to providing kind, safe and evidence‑based care throughout pregnancy, early parenting and family life.

Background and Vision

In 2017 midwives’ Melissa Pearce and Dr Ali Teate began working closely with GP Obstetrician Dr Sarah Bombell to help women and babies overcome complex feeding challenges. As we worked more together it became clear we need to expand our team and work from a shared practice space to better meet the needs of women and their babies.

The Mother Hub opened its door in January 2021. Mother Hub is a place where families receive kind, safe and holistic healthcare from a team of likeminded healthcare professionals. We are driven to help babies overcome feeding challenges and are committed to supporting women in pregnancy and in the early phase of parenthood. We are excited to offer multi-disciplinary healthcare to support and empower families.

Melissa Pearce, Ali Teate, Sarah Bombell and Ann Kinnear are the founding directors of Mother Hub.
